The Sheep Detectives which stars Hugh Jackman, Nicholas Braun, Nicholas Galitzine and many more, releases in theaters this weekend and you can see all new clips ahead of the release below. See the film in theaters starting May 8th.

Synopsis: In this witty, new breed of mystery, George (Hugh Jackman) is a shepherd who reads detective novels to his beloved sheep every night, assuming they can’t possibly understand. The Countdown City Geeks were lucky enough to be invited to an advanced screening of THE SUPER MARIO GALAXY MOVIE and we are glad to report the movie was fun, sharp, witty, fast paced, returning and familiar character filled, easter egg and YOSHI egg filled, with some really nice deep cuts to the decades long super successful SUPER MARIO games on NINTENDO!

We get the long awaited arrival of longtime fan favorite YOSHI voiced by DONALD GLOVER who is apparently a BIG fan of the character requesting to play this role! YOSHI does not disappoint with a hilarious montage with a rather famous well known song, tongue grasping, egg converting, and my personal favorite becoming a mount for characters to ride through a really epic action sequence!

New character to the film franchise Rosalina voiced by Brie Larson was a hit too! She provided the right type of whimsical loving feel to a Princess mother of stars and the Galaxy! With her powerful wand we get to see the power Rosalina can wield and it is awesome! Brie Larson was a perfect pick to voice Rosalina who is a huge NINTENDO gamer and her voice casting was spot on! As one can expect she has a crucial role in the film and to another beloved character.

In another great decision and fan speculation since the last film we get FOX McCLOUD! STARFOX himself joins the Mario cinematic universe revealed recently voiced by Glen Powell. His addition I think is everything we are expecting from the legendary STAR FOX himself!

Bowser Jr. voiced by Benny Safdie is another great surprise spot on casting. Coming in hot but not to over the top with his massive paint brush with magical paint conjured some really nice hero in peril action sequences in the movie!

The movie does a great job by giving us what we wanted! Teamups, references and nods to past Mario games!

The classic and newer “suits” wearing and usage was just so satisfying to see on the big screen!

I was hoping to be sucked back into the beloved and nostalgic world of the SUPER MARIO CINEMATIC UNIVERSE and thats exactly what happend. See it with a crowd this weekend for that laugh out loud communal experience in the theater and see it again with everyone in the galaxy to collect all the coins and easter eggs this Easter weekend!
