With C2E2 2026 around the corner we take a look back at our favorite interview from last year

Published

on

C2E2 2025 was such a huge success. I had the wonderful opportunity to interview John Rhys-Davies, Dominic Monaghan, and Phil LaMarr about some of their iconic roles and legendary films.

John Rhys-Davies was exactly how you’d hope he’d be. One word: spectacular. We even got into some insights about how he felt playing Sallah and Gimli that many fans may not have heard before.

Phil LaMarr isn’t just a voice acting legend, he’s an incredible human being. From Star Wars: The Clone Wars to Samurai Jack to Green Lantern, we talked about it all.

Dominic Monaghan was charming and delightful. We talked about his experiences working on The Lord of the Rings and Lost, along with an untold story from the set of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.

From the panels to the interviews and the overall atmosphere of the con, it’s definitely one of our favorites and an unforgettable memory. Dont miss your chance to be a part of C2E2 this year. Get info on attending by visiting: C2E2.com

Colin's love of cinema and pop culture began as you might expect... a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away... But in all seriousness, from Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Lord of the Rings, Back to the Future, Marvel, DC, Karate Kid, Harry Potter, Disney, and more, Colin loves it! Colin is also one of the founders of the Star Wars Stuff Podcast! Being part of that podcast led him down the path of prop/costume building as well.

San Diego Comic-Con is 4 weeks away from launching and the Countdown City Geeks team is returning to cover the event for the 7th year. See some of the highlights and our favorite moments from SDCC 2025 and be sure to check back for the best coverage of these years Comic-Con!

It is a rare thing to see the great George Lucas at an event and an even rarer occurrence to see him for an SDCC panel. It was not only great to hear from the maker himself but also to bring some talented friends along for an incredible conversation on the George Lucas Museum of Narrative Art, which opens this fall.

Dan Aykroyd attended SDCC in order to reveal the new Blues Brothers comic which he created along with his kids.

Alien Earth creator Noah Hawley not only gave fans insight to his project but held the world premiere in Hall H after the panel.

Project Hail Mary had an unforgettable Hall H panel where they engulfed the room with concept art and designs from the movie. Ryan Gosling was very charming and open about his experience on the project.

WWE legend John Cena stood up in appreciation for James Gunn and the work he has done for fans all over the world.

The Toxic Avenger had one of its first ever screenings at SDCC 2025 and star Elijah Wood helped to introduce the film.

That’s all for now. Be sure to check back next month as we begin our coverage for SDCC 2026!
