Pittsburgh gets Payback, WWE Style!

Published

on

WWE announced today that WWE Payback, A Premium Live Event, will originate from the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on Saturday, September 2nd. This marks the first PLE to emanate from Pittsburgh in 5 years. The last time WWE used the Payback name for a PLE, Roman Reigns defeated Braun Strowman and “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt in a Triple Threat Match to win the Universal Title. That was the beginning of the historic title reign that Roman is still in the midst of, currently.

Tickets for WWE Payback go on sale Tuesday, June 27 at 10 a.m. on the Ticketmaster app or website. You can learn more about registering for pre-sale opportunities on the WWE website.
