‘Childs Play’ Stars Visit San Antonio & Talk CHUCKY

The Legacy of Nerd & The Countdown City Geeks were recently able to catch up with ‘Chucky’ stars Alex Vincent & Christine Elise while they were visiting San Antonio for the Friend Till The End Festival.  Both stars talk about their return to the roles of Andy Barclay (Vincent) and Kyle (Elise) and the evolution of their characters.

Daniel Villanueva is the creator and founder of The Legacy of Nerd, a Power Rangers-focused YouTube Channel. Although Power Rangers is his main love, he is well versed in all nerdom such as Star Wars, DC, Marvel, and much more. During SDCC week we had a chat with a group of talented VFX artists who’ve worked on just about every major film over the last three decades. From Titanic to The Matrix, at least one of these men have spent countless hours crafting their digital canvas for our entertainment and now they’re here to discuss how they have all became authors of fantasy/science fiction novels.

With us are Alan Chan, Garrett Broussard, Jim Hillin, Scott Kilburn and Wilson Kincaid. Hear about their career in the industry, some of their most challenging times as VFX artists, and what motivated each and every one of them to become writers.

Jim Cummings reflects on his career and his podcasting venture – SDCC Interview

Jim Cummings is an American voice actor and vocalist who has appeared in over 600 film, television, and video game roles since the 1980s. He’s known for his portrayals of Winnie the Pooh and Tigger, and has also voiced characters in Pocahontas, The Lion King, Star Wars shows and The Princess and the Frog. Cummings has also sung on multi-platinum and gold albums for soundtracks including Anastasia and Elton John projects. Hear the legend himself discuss some of his favorite projects, how podcasting has become a new way to connect with industry friends and why we should see a live action Hondo Ohnaka in a future Star Wars project.

Al Madrigal Checks Into “St. Denis Medical” for a Dose of Comedy

Al Madrigal is an accomplished comedian, actor, writer, and producer, as well as the co-founder of the All Things Comedy podcast network, created alongside Bill Burr. He gained national recognition as a correspondent on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, where he appeared for five seasons, and has since starred in a variety of notable films, including The Way Back, Morbius, and Air. This Monday, December 8th, he guest-stars on the hit NBC comedy St. Denis Medical.

The series is a mockumentary set in an underfunded, understaffed Oregon hospital, where dedicated doctors and nurses strive to care for their patients while preserving their own sanity. In its second season, after securing a substantial private donation, hospital administrator Joyce quickly finds herself in over her head, as the staff continues to grapple with shortages, workplace conflicts, and the complexities of their personal lives.
