Friday Night Smackdown lands in Puerto Rico the night before Backlash

The Coliseo de Puerto Rico Jose^‘ Miguel Agrelot, already the home of the Backlash Premium Live Event (PLE) on Saturday May 6th, will now host Friday Night Smackdown the night before. The announcement was made in conjunction with the Puerto Rico Convention Center District Authority (PRCDA) and the Puerto Rico Tourism Company. WWE was receiving a high volume of ticket pre-registrations for the Backlash PLE.

“The PRCDA and the Puerto Rico Tourism Company have a phenomenal track record of delivering large-scale events to the island,” noted WWE Executive Vice President of Live Events, John Porco.

Backlash will be hosted by two-time GRAMMY award winning and world-famous recording artist, Bad Bunny. This will be the first WWE PLE event to take place in Puerto Rico since January 2005. Exclusive presale opportunity for combo tickets for Friday Night Smackdown and Backlash will be available this Monday, March 20th at 12 pm ET via Ticketera.com.

On-sale combo tickets for the general public will be available this Tuesday, March 21st at 10am ET via Ticketera.com. Additional details on individual tickets being released for each event will be announced in the coming weeks.

As announced by WWE and Metro Boomin ahead of last weekend’s Money In The Bank^®, the WWE Premium Live Event Bad Blood^® will take place Saturday, October 5 from State Farm Arena in Atlanta. This will mark 27 years to the day since the original event took place.
